Do Not Be Afraid

"Do not be afraid of the people I send you to.
I am with you. I will save you,” announces the Lord.
Jeremiah 1:8 NIRV

For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.
Psalm 27:5

Praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.
Psalm 28:6-7

Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
Psalm 62:1-2

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life.
You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes;
with your right hand you save me.
The Lord will vindicate me; your love, Lord, endures forever—
do not abandon the works of your hands.
Psalm 138:7-8

Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
Isaiah 43:1-2

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation.
He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior— from violent people you save me.
2 Samuel 22:2-3

As for God, his way is perfect:
The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.
For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God?
It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.
2 Samuel 22:33

I am holding you by your right hand -
I, the Lord your God - and I say to you,
Don't be afraid; I am here to help you.
Isaiah 41:13 TLB

What a wonderul God we have -
he is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the source of every mercy,
and the one who so wonderfully comforts
and strengthens us in our hardships
and trials.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 TLB
